SYMPTOMS
========
When you use the Windows NT Backup program with an Exabyte EXB-8200 tape backup
device on an IBM SCSI controller, the backup process may stop and the following
error message may appear:
Fatal error on drive 1
CAUSE
=====
This problem occurs with earlier versions of IBM SCSI BIOS.
RESOLUTION
==========
Upgrade the IBM SCSI controller BIOS to the revision dated 1992 or later. For
additional information, call IBM Technical Support at (800) 772-2227.
