SYMPTOMS
========
When you try to send a mail message with a Microsoft Excel for Windows routing
slip attached, you will get the following error:
General mail failure. Close Excel, restart the mail system and try again.
CAUSE
=====
You are addressing the message from the Personal Address Book (PAB) with the
routing slip attached.
RESOLUTION
==========
Address the message with a Microsoft Excel routing slip from the Postoffice
Address List (POL) or the Global Address List (GAL).
You can also upgrade to Microsoft Excel version 5.0c; it has been known to
resolve this issue when you are using a single postoffices using the GAL.
MORE INFORMATION

This problem may also occur with Microsoft Word version 6.0 for Windows. To
resolve this issue, upgrade to Microsoft Word version 6.0a or later.
