SYMPTOMS

After you change your domain password, you may receive the following error
message:
Your password is too short.
You may receive this error message even though the password you typed is the
correct length.
CAUSE
=====
This problem can occur if you log on to a domain that requires a "strong"
password, and you did not type both uppercase and lowercase letters. A strong
password is a password that consists of six or more characters, has numeric
characters, and has both uppercase and lowercase letters.
RESOLUTION

STATUS

This problem no longer occurs in Windows 98. To resolve this problem, install
the current version of Windows. For information about the current version of
Windows, visit http://www.microsoft.com/windows.
