SYMPTOMS
========
When you start Microsoft Allegiance, the game may quit unexpectedly, and you may
receive a Microsoft Crash Guard report.
CAUSE
=====
This behavior can occur if the following conditions are true:
- The Sound Card Acceleration feature in Allegiance is turned on.
- Your sound card or the sound driver for your sound card is not compatible
with the Sound Card Acceleration feature in Allegiance.
RESOLUTION
==========
To resolve this issue, contact your hardware manufacturer to inquire about how
to obtain and install the latest version of the sound driver for your sound
card.

To work around this issue, turn off the Sound Card Acceleration feature:
1. On the Allegiance startup screen, click Options, and then point to Sound
Options.
2. Click Sound Card Acceleration On to change it to Sound Card Acceleration Off.
3. Click anywhere outside of the menu to close it.
