select the Save Forwarded Messages check box.

1. On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click E-mail Options.
2. Click Advanced E-mail Options, and then click to select the Save Forwarded
Messages check box.
Outlook 97
----------
1. On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Send tab.
2. Click to select the Save Forwarded Messages check box.
NOTE: There are no rules or views that can hide the message from your Sent Items
folder.
