SYMPTOMS
========
When you press SHIFT plus a button on a Gravis game controller, MechWarrior 4
responds as though you pressed SHIFT+1.
CAUSE
=====
This behavior can occur if the Gravis Controller Software is installed on your
computer.
RESOLUTION
==========
To resolve this issue, remove the Gravis Controller Software:
1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
2. Double-click Game Controllers.
3. Click the Gravis controller, and then click Remove.
4. Click Add.
5. Click to select a joystick that has similar characteristics as your game
controller from the list of devices, and then click OK.
For example, click "3 axis 2 button" if you use a joystick that has three axis
and two buttons.
