TP General - Slow performance in certain applications

SYMPTOM:
The ThinkPad displays various symptoms, all decreasing the general performance of the machine. Symptoms may include intermittent crashes, (mainly running Microsoft Excel, Word CCMail), floppy being polled every 5 minutes, out-of-memory errors.
CONFIGURATION:
Any ThinkPad 365X/XD, 380 or 385 series, 560 series, 600 series, 760 and 765 series, and the 770 series running Windows 95/98/NT.
SOLUTION:
The symptoms are caused by the FUELWIN.EXE application consuming GUI resource while charging. A fix has been developed and is included in version 4.13 and higher of the Utility features.
