Aptiva - 2140/2142 - Using MIDI devices

Why can't I use a MIDI device on my 2140 or 2142 computer?
By default, the MIDI interrupt is disabled on the 2140 and 2142 systems.
To enable it for use with an external MIDI device:
1. Start the Aptiva Setup Utility by pressing [F1] when you start your system
2. Choose Audio Information
3. Select Enable MIDI interrupt.
