IBM IntelliStation M Pro (Type 6889) - Windows 95/98 installation fails on SCSI channel B

SYMPTOM:
When installing Windows 95/98, the installation completes to the last boot screen where the Windows logo screen states "Getting Ready to Run Windows 95/98 for the First Time."
When prompted "System Files Updated, Restarting Windows" the installation halts.
PROBLEM ISOLATION AIDS:
This tip applies to the IBM IntelliStation M Pro Series 6889 systems being installed with Windows 95/98 where the bootable device is installed on SCSI Channel B.
FIX:
When installed with Windows 95/98, the bootable device must be installed on SCSI Channel A.
