8X Internal or External CD-ROM Drive - Unable to install device driver (US Only)

Problem:
Customer is unable to install device driver for their 8X Internal or External CD Rom Drive.
Solution:
Ask the customer to read the label off of the driver diskette. Customer should find SCSI CD Rom Drive, Option/Device Driver Diskette, v 1.40, 76H8847 from the label. Have the customer do a directory of the diskette. If only one file is found on the diskette image, the customer has received a compressed image. The easiest solution is to have the customer download SCSICDRM.EXE

Once the file is extracted onto a diskette, the following image should be found:
Volume in drive A has no label.

The customer should then be able to install the driver for their 8X SCSI CD Rom Drive. If the customer has the EMT package (IBM Internal Software), they may be able to decompress the file without downloading the image. Again, the easiest solution to the compressed image problem would be to download SCSICDRM.EXE
