Aptiva - How to add fonts to Windows 95 or 98
Applicable to: World-Wide
Many font packages have a "Setup" or "Install" program. If this is a commercial font package, please follow the manufacturer's instructions.
To manually install a font:
Go to Start -> Settings -> Control Panel.
Double-click Fonts.
Click File -> Install New Font.
The Add Fonts dialog box will be displayed, showing a list of available fonts.
To select the Drive to install from, click the down-arrow in the Drives section and then click the correct drive. If the font is on a floppy disk, choose drive A:.
If fonts are found, they will be displayed. Otherwise, select the appropriate directory.
To install all of the fonts (usually preferred) click the button labeled Select All. You may instead select individual fonts by clicking on each.
When all desired fonts are selected, click OK.
