Aptiva - How to install / uninstall Body Works 5.0
Applicable to: United States
To install Body Works onto your Aptiva:
1. Ensure that your screen saver is disabled
2. From the Windows 95 desktop, double click on the Aptiva Installer icon
3. Insert the Body Works CD into the CD-ROM drive and wait for the drive light to go on and then off
4. Click on the "find install program" button if application was not installed previously or if installed previously, select "show uninstalled programs" tab.
5. Click on Body Works to highlight it and then click on install
6. Please read the disclaimer and then click on OK
7. Click on install program
8. The directory name C:\BODY5 appears; click on continue
9. An install box will appear telling you that it will install quick time, please click OK
10. At the begin install box, click on install
11. Click on start to begin the checking of existing versions
12. From the complete install box, click install
13. From the success box, click OK
14. An install box will appear, click OK here
15. Click on the small x box, upper right hand corner of "quick Time" folder to close it.
16. Click on "exit" to close installer.
17. From this point, read the help files by double clicking on the Body Works 5.0 help. After that you can double click on the Body Works 5.0 icon to start enjoying the program
To remove Body Works 5.0 from your hard disk:
1. From the Windows95 desktop, double click on the Aptiva Installer icon
2. Click on the show installed programs tab
3. Highlight Body Works 5.0 and then click on uninstall
4. At the warning box, click on yes
5. At the install box, click on "ok"
