TP 600 - Microphone cable FRU correction to HMM

Symptom:
The January 1999, page 103 for the ThinkPad 600, page 109 for the 600E, HMM for the 600/600E lists detail part number 4, "Speaker and Microphone Cable)", orderable as "(see misc. parts)". This is incorrect. This cable is included with the Speaker (detail part number 29 for the 600, number 30 for the 600E, FRU 02K4861 for both).
There is also some confusion over the part listed as "Mic. cable (see misc. parts)" for both the 600 and 600E, listed as detail part number 9. This is definitely part of "System Miscellaneous Parts", FRU 05K4831 for the 600 and FRU 05K5854 for the 600E. Note that the "Speaker and Microphone Cable" is a flat "L" shaped ribbon cable and the "Mic. Cable" is a flexible twisted-wire cable to eliminate confusion when ordering parts.
Resolution:
This will be updated in the next release of the HMM.
