Network Station - ICA Client restart option with Published Applications
Applicable to: World-Wide
Problem:
This was discovered/tested on an installation of Network Stations running: Terminal Server Edition. The problem discovered was that the ICA Client was not reconnecting to a Published Application.
The client failed to restart with the 'Usage: icaclnt.......' dialogue, indicating that the syntax used to restart the ICA Client was invalid.
Solution:
Rename the Published Application to 'Desktop' and used the parameters:
-lb -- 'Desktop' -restart -g full-screen
Additional Information:
This was tested on NSM 3.0.6 on a S300 with 16 MB. The Boot Server is NT 4 SP3, and the client is connecting to a separate TSE SP3 server.
