Rapid Access Keyboard - Incompatibile with Dell XPS systems

Symptoms:

• The BIOS might report a mouse error.
• The keyboard will not pass post. Num Lock, Caps Lock, Scroll Lock LED's will not go on and off.
• If any key is pressed it might result in a beep for the system unit

Environment:

• Dell XPS system family
• Windows 95, 98 or NT 4.0
• Rapid Access Keyboard
• Rapid Access Keyboard software version 1.0 or later

Permanent Solution:
The Rapid Access Keyboard is incompatible with the Dell XPS system family. The only solution is to return the keyboard to point of purchase.
