Aptiva - Initialisation strings for AT&T and LT Winmodems
Applicable to: AP-S
Purpose of this Document:
If for some reason you have altered the Modem initialisation strings and now want to return to the default settings,
here are the default settings for the AT&T & Lucent Winmodems.
Standard modem initialisation string for AT&T Winmodem:
AT &F E0 &C1 &D2 V1 S0=0\V1
AT = Attention Code
&F = Reset to factory setting
E0 = Do not echo commands as they are entered by user
&C1 = Carrier Detect
&D2 = DTR option
V1 = Verbose Response
S0=0 = Ring to answer on
Initialisation string used by LT Winmodem:
AT V1 &C1 &D2 S7=255
&C1 = Carrier Detect
&D2 = DTR option
V1 = Verbose Response
S7=255 = Wait 255secs for Carrier Detect
