IBM PC300GL (Type 6275, 6285) - Alternative System Board (EMEA Only)

A small number of PC300GL (machine type 6275 and 6285 only) may contain an alternative version of the system board and chassis. This version has additional circuity which is disabled in CMOS, so that it is functionally equivalent to the standard version.
This should not cause any problem, but in the event that it does, replace the system board with the standard FRU p/n 61H2347. When FRU p/n 61H2347 is installed there will be additional redundant wiring from the chassis for the Audio connector, RFID circuity and C2 security which should be left disconnected and taped to the side of the chassis.
