IBM PC300PL (Type 6862, 6872, 6892) - ScrollPoint mouse feature fails to function

Symptom:
After the system boots the Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 preload, the mouse buttons will function, but the scroll feature will not.
Problem Isolation Aids:
This is a world wide issue affecting all Windows NT 4.0 IBM preloaded images.
Systems with Windows 95/98 IBM preloaded images are not affected.
Systems Affected:
The following machine type/models, when shipped with Windows NT 4.0 and a ScrollPoint mouse as part of the ship group, are affected.
IBM PC 300PL 6862-V1x,N2x, N4x, N5x, and N6x
IBM PC 300PL 6892-N2x, and N4x
Fix:
The customer is to install the ScrollPoint Mouse Driver. This is on the Ready to Configure CD-ROM in the ship group.
