Is NFS required to transfer files on both AIX and NT servers for IBM Network Station System Administration ?
Answer:
Yes, NFS is required to transfer files on both AIX and NT servers. TFTP or NFS can be used to boot from either AIX and NT server. TFTP is only used during boot (to transfer the kernel and to read configuration files). All other files are read using NFS.
