Unable to use a pattern as a background in Windows 95/98
Solution:
This information is only valid for Windows 95/98 preloaded systems .
1. Go to Start-Settings-Control Panel.
2. Double-Click on the Display Icon.
3. Go to Display Properties under the Appearance tab.
4. Select Desktop under Item, and change the Color from Black to another.
5. Select the Background tab, and select None for Wallpaper.
You will now be able to use patterns.
