IBM PC300XL/IBM IntelliStation M Pro - Erratic mouse tip

Symptom:
After the system has entered Advanced Power Management (APM) mode and a key is pressed to wakeup the system, the mouse cursor becomes erratic or is locked up.
Problem isolation aids:
If the user is running DOS and Windows 3.x, or DOS and Windows for Workgroups in the IBM PC 300XL or IntelliStation M Pro (Machine types 6588 and 6888), this tip applies.
FIX:
Advanced Power Management (APM) mode must be disabled via the F1 Setup in the IBM PC 300XL and IntelliStation M Pro (Machine types 6588 and 6888) if either DOS and Windows 3.x, or DOS and Windows for Workgroups is used as the operating system.
