Aptiva - Is there an easy way to print from the DOS prompt?

Applicable to: World-Wide

You can easily print a screen of text from the DOS command prompt without using the [Print Screen] key. Before using the DIR or TYPE command, follow these steps:

- Verify that your printer is on...

- Press [Ctrl]+[P]

- At the DOS command prompt, enter: DIR or TYPE filename (where "filename" is the name of the file you want to view)

The information will be displayed on the screen and sent to the printer at the same time. When you have finished printing, press [Ctrl]+[P] again to turn off the printer echo.
