TP 701 - No audio in Faxworks

SYMPTOM:
On ThinkPad 701 systems that have a built in modem, no audio is heard in the answering machine & telephone speaker.
SOLUTION:
The wrong version of faxworks was preloaded on some ThinkPad 701 systems. The solution is to install the correct version of Faxworks called FWV701-1.EXE, FWV701-2.EXE and the readme is FW701FIX.EXE. Click here
