4X PCMCIA CD-ROM Drive - Troubleshooting (US Only)

If you observe one of the following problems, one of the associated responses might fix the problem.

No symbol appears at power on:
a. Verify that the AC adapter is connected correctly, see 'Using an AC Adapter' on page 2-6 of the user's guide.
b. Verify that the Ni-Cd battery pack is inserted correctly, see 'Using a Ni-Cd Batter Pack' on page 2-6 of the user's guide.
c. Verify that the Ni-Cd battery pack is fully charged, see 'Charging the Ni-Cd Battery Pack' on page 2-7 of the user's guide.
d. Verify that the AA alkaline batteries are inserted correctly, see "Using Alkaline Batteries" on page 2-7 of the user's guide.
e. Verify that the batteries are still useful. If the batteries are weak, the battery power indicator will flash (see Table 1 on page 2-3 of user's guide).

2. The CD-ROM drive is not recognized on the computer:
a. Verify that the required software is installed correctly, see "Step 3. Installing the Drive Software" on page 2-9 of the user's guide.
b. If you are using Windows 95, your computer model might require a BIOS up
