Aptiva - Ways to run diagnostics
Applicable to: United States
Here are ways to run diagnostics with different operating systems.
1.) Windows 95 preloaded models:
a.) Press left-shift+F5 when you see "starting Windows 95".
b.) cd diags
c.) service
d.) Follow the prompts.
2.) Warp preloaded models:
If the boot operating system is DOS:
a.) Press F5 when you see "starting DOS".
b.) cd diags
c.) service
d.) Follow the prompts.
If the boot operating system is Warp:
a.) Boot off of the MPEG diskette or Recovery diskette.
b.) Press F5.
c.) c:
d.) cd diags
e.) service
f.) Follow the prompts.
