How many LAN segments are supported using multiple Dual LANStreamers ?.
Answer
The question has two parts: hardware and software. On the hardware side, you are limited to 4 Dual LANStreamers per system. That means 8 possible segments. On the software side, it depends on which operating system you are running. The Dual LANStreamer cards only support OS/2 or NetWare. If you are running OS/2 LAN Server you can only have up to 4 LAN segments. If you are running NetWare you can support any number of segments, so the maximum of 8 would be supported.
