Aptiva - Unable to hear anthems in Encarta 96
Applicable to: AP-S
Symptom:
Some customers have experienced difficulty with playing the anthems in Encarta 96
Solution:
Click on - Start, then Settings, and then Control Panel.
Open Multimedia, then click on the MIDI tab.
Make sure that MIDI Output is set to Mwave Midi Synthesizer.
If it is set to Mwave MIDI Port - No Sound will play.
Follow the same procedure with Audio Station
To get sound from Midi files, Make the change to Midi Synth - and reboot .
