TP General - PC Card modem in a docking station/port replicator may not work after resumes
Applicable to: World-Wide
Symptom:
A modem application program indicates an error when opening the modem port after standby, suspend, or hibernation. If you retry the operation, it works properly.
Configuration:
A PC Card modem connected to a ThinkPad via a docking station or a port replicator.
Workaround:
Use the PC card in your system PC Card slot or configure your modem application to automatically retry dialing.
