12/24GB DDS/3 4mm Internal SCSI Tape Drive - BACKUP EXEC does not work properly with the drive under Novell 4.1

Symptom:
BACKUP EXEC, a Seagate product that comes with the 12/24GB DDS/3 4mm Internal SCSI Tape Drive, does not recognize the Tape Drive. When the software is executed it gives the error message "ERROR 1007 ASPI Manager Not Found". The same server with the same tape drive works fine with SBACKUP.

Explanation:
Novell 4.1 requires that the ASPI manager be loaded to make use of the tape drive attached to the RAID controller. The error message simply states that this has not been done.
Solution:
Edit the Startup.ncf file and add the text "load nwaspi"
