Aptiva - Video and speech are out of phase in Video CD Player

Problem Description:
When playing the Video CD, the video and the speech is out of synchronization. Video is ahead of speech.
Problem Resolution:
Under Multi-media player (or which ever application used) select the 'SCALE' to be either track or frames -instead of time.
To do this for the Multi-media player application follow these steps:
1. Open Multi media player.
2. Open the MPEG file you wish to play.
3. Click on SCALE on the menu bar.
4. Select either TRACKS or FRAMES.
NOTE: Downloading the most current BIOS upgrade has also helped this issue.
