TP General - How to identify Windows 95 resource conflicts

How to identify resource conflicts in Windows 95.
In Windows95, go to Device Manager.
1. Turn on the Thinkpad and start Windows 95.
2. Click on Start+Settings+Control Panel.
3. Double-click on the System icon.
4. Click on the Device Manager Tab.
5. Look down the list for yellow ! exclamation marks.
6. If you see a device with a yellow exclamation you can double-click on that device to see the properties.
7. Click on the resources Tab and look in the "Conflicting Device List" box.
8. You should see whatever is in conflict with the device.
*NOTE: If the "Conflicting Device List" box is empty and you still have a yellow exclamation this indicates that this particual device doesn't have all the correct drivers installed/installed correctly or the Resources set will not work for this particular device (even though it says "No Conflicts"). Try another set of resources.
