TP General - How to uninstall/reinstall multimedia support under Windows 95

This document contains information on how to remove/install Windows 95 Multimedia Support.
These procedures will allow you to remove and reinstall the Multimedia Support for Windows 95. This procedure is used when there is a possibility that the Multimedia support has been corrupted.
Note: Only perform this procedure if the system still has all the *.CAB files intact or if you have backup diskettes or a Windows 95 CD-ROM.
Removing Multimedia Support:
1. Click on Start, then Settings, and Control Panel.
2. Click on Add/Remove Programs icon.
3. Click on Windows Setup Tab.
4. Scroll down to Multimedia.
5. Uncheck the box next to Multimedia.
6. Click on Apply.
7. Click on OK.
Reinstalling/Installing Multimedia Support:
1. Click on Start, then Settings, and Control Panel.
2. Click on Add/Remove Programs icon.
3. Click on Windows Setup Tab.
4. Scroll down to Multimedia.
5. Check the box next to Multimedia.
6. Select the "Apply" button.
