TP 760ED - MPEG video CD playback performance slow after reloading Windows 95

SYMPTOM:
After reloading Windows 95 over the original Thinkpad 760ED preload, MPEG Video CD playback performance is slow.
If all 32-bit protect-mode disk drivers are disabled in Control Panel, System, playback performance is normal.
CONFIGURATION:
Any ThinkPad 760ED after having reinstalled Windows 95.
SOLUTION:
Microsoft has released an updated version of the IOS.VXD file to correct this problem. It can be obtained from the following web address:
