TP 760E/ED/EL/ELD - Fails Randomly PCMCIA Modem Installed

Problem Description -
760exx with the above modem fails randomly while installed. Card can be removed and re-installed and it will become operational again. Could be construed as a "thermal problem".
Modem Description - as above
Operating System - does not matter
Fix -
go to www.mhz.com under support under flash upgrade and get the file - OI03M, which is a firmware flash upgrade for the modem, and install it.
