Installing the enhanced video driver in Win-OS/2.
Before installing the device drivers, make sure that OS/2 is installed in the system with Win-OS/2 session enabled; then Video for Windows 1.1 Runtime Module and video capture and playback software compatible with Video for Windows 1.1 are installed in the system, too.

.) Make sure video capture and playback software compatible with Video for Windows are already installed in the system.
.) Make sure ThinkPad System Management device driver is installed. To do this, you need to run the Device Driver Install, either from an OS/2 Window (type DDINSTALL) or from the System folder with the utility diskette in the floppy drive.
.) Turn on the computer and start OS/2.
.) Open Program Manager in Windows Programs folder.
.) Select File from the Program Manager window; then select Run... from the pull-down menu.
.) Type A:EVSETUP2 and press Enter.
.) Click on Enter.
.) It will ask you where you want to install the drivers. Click on Install to accept the default.
.) It will ask if it is OK for the config.sys and the system.ini files to be updated. Click on Yes.
.) It will then tell you the names of the backup files. Click on OK.
.) Click on OK.
.) Exit out of Program Manager, then shutdown OS/2 and restart the computer.
Note: Refer to the readme.win file on the enhanced video drivers diskette for considerations when using enhanced video in a Win-OS/2 sesssion. Also, Video for Windows does not come with the ThinkPad. It must be installed seperately or from another application that provides that support (the video capture and playback software may provide that support).
