Aptiva - Creative Writer lowers volume on Volume Control

Description:
After running Microsoft Creative Writer the volume levels for all WAV sound are lowered to about 1/2 half volume in the volume control program. This can cause no sound to be heard through the monitor's speakers if they are set low enough.
Solution:
The workaround is to go to the mixer and increase the volume manually.
