Other considerations when using your ThinkPad 770X
- When multi-monitor function is enabled, video playback with hardware overlay is supported on the CRT ONLY.

- 1600x1200 60Hz mode is not supported on external CRT.

- You cannot play MPEG files in PAL mode on the external TV under Windows NT.

- ThinkPad 770X support SDRAM only. You cannot use EDO memory for ThinkPad 770X.
-
- Under DOS, you can utilize 7.9GB at maximum of the 8.1GB HDD hard disk drive. This is a limitation of DOS.

- Video connections on the ThinkPad 770X can be disconnected when power management is invoked.

- When using the full screen guest video mode with Intel Video Phone on the 1280 x 1024 display 770X model, the application inserts a blue line across the bottom of the screen to maintain the correct aspect ratio.

- To prevent erroneous results, it is recommended that during video and audio playback, changing video modes or the use of suspend and hibernate be avoided.

- DVD Express is not supported under Windows OSR 0 and OSR 1.0.

- The ThinkPad 770 DVD and Enhanced Video Adapter (part number 11J8957) is not supported on the ThinkPad 770X. Use the DVD and Enhanced Video Adapter part number 10L1228 for the ThinkPad 770X.

- Video capture/overlay/MPEG playback function is not supported in the following video mode's:

- 1600 x 1200 resolution
- all 16 color modes
- virtual screen mode (such as 1280 x 1024 on an LCD
- DVD Movie titles cannot be played with MediaPlayer. The DVD Movie application should be used.

- IBM MPEG2 and ZV card cannot be used simultaneously.

- 3D acceleration does not work in 256 color mode.

- In 16M color mode, LCD expansion is not supported.

- The following cards are not supported.

- Madge Token Ring CardBus
- LANDesk Client Manager (LDCM) cannot be installed if NetFinity has already been installed. NetFinity and LDCM may conflict with each other.

- Double-click on the objects in the TrackPoint Magnifying Glass window is not supported. (Single -click is supported)

- SelectaDock I/II/III does not support Hot and Warm docking and undocking in Windows 95.

- If CardBus card is in use, other PCMCIA card may not be hot plugged.

- When one CardBus card is already configured in the system slot or Docking Station slot, the second CardBus card must be configured with the the system icon in Control Panel. The second CardBus card will not be configured automatically.

- CardWorks does not work on the shrink wrap version of Windows 95. The native PC Card driver is to be used on the shrink wrap version of Windows 95.

- Suspend timer may not suspend if "Load Auto-Protect at startup" of Norton AntiVirus (OEM Version) is enabled and suspend timer is set to 2 minutes or more.

- When using Intellisync to transfer large files or large amounts of files (8mb or greater in size), please allow approximately 30 seconds after the transfer completes before beginning another transfer. This will prevent possible conflicts with the Infrared ports.
