Aptiva - 2144/2168 (SL-H) Considerations: Retailer Store Demo questions

Situation/Solution:

Cannot exit the demo:
-If you are having problems exiting the demo press Ctl + C, and then enter your password when prompted.

Cannot start the demo:
-If you need to start the demo, turn the computer on.

Need to reload the demo:
-If you have an OS/2 machine and a CD with part number 42H2567 or 41H7864, do an FDISK, FORMAT and RELOAD. The demo is on these CDs. If you do not have either of those CDs, you can order the demo CD by calling 1-800-432-3403. Do not choose any options, wait for a representative. Windows 95 machines will have to have the demo CD ordered.

Need to remove the demo from the load:
-Make recovery diskettes for that machine and restore original software.
