Home and Away Credit Card Adapter - Installing the adapter as modem only

Limitations:
The PCMCIA card can only be installed on COM 2. The install program will give options for installing on any corn port but the modem will not enable on any port but COM 2. Tested on machines with and without MWAVE software.

Installing on MWave Machines:

1. Disable Infared Port.
2. Move the MWAVE modem to corn 1.
3. Reboot the machine.
4. At this point exit to DOS and type in a:\install. The installation program will give the option for any comport. Choose com port 2. This will install a statement in the config.sys which is a client enabler which will work in conjunction with card and socket services.
5. Put the PCMCIA card and reboot the machine.
   

1. 1. Disable the serial port on COM 2.
2. Reboot the machine after this change.
3. After this exit to DOS and type a:\install with installation disk in the disk drive. The installation program will give the option for any corn port. Choose COM port 2. This will install a statement in the config.sys, DEVICE = C:\ MODEMCS.SYS /COM2, which is a client enabler, that will work in conjunction with card and socket services.
4. Put the PCMCIA card and reboot the machine.
