Installation Guide
<Preparation>
(To extract the drivers, follow these procedures:)
1. Download VFTPROS2.EXE to your hard drive and run it. This is a self-extracting ZIP containing the following files:
-INSTALVI.BAT
-LICENSE.TXT
-VFTPOS2.SXZ
-VFTPDOS2.TXT
2. Run INSTALVI.BAT to place all the data files on your system.
Default path is C:\DRIVERS\OS2\VIDEO\
NOTE: THIS ONLY COMPLETES THE EXTRACTION PROCESS. To install the driver, follow the instructions below.
<Installation>
1. Turn on the computer and start OS/2.
2. Set the display device to LCD only.
3. Open an OS/2 window or a full-screen command prompt.
4. Change to the drive and directory where the ThinkPad Video Features IV for OS/2 resides.
Default path is C:\DRIVERS\OS2\VIDEO\
5. Type SETUP X (X=boot drive) and press Enter.
6. Select the 'Primary Display' on the Display Driver Install window and click on the 'OK' button.
7. Click on the 'List additional display drivers...' button.
8. Specify display driver location and click on the 'OK' button.
Default path is C:\DRIVERS\OS2\VIDEO\
9. Make sure the 'NeoMagic MagicGraph 128/V/ZV/XD and MagicMedia 256AV' and click on 'OK' button.
10. Make sure the display driver location and click on the 'Install...' button.
Default path is C:\DRIVERS\OS2\VIDEO\
11. Click on the 'OK' button after copying display driver files.
12. After the installation is complete, shut down OS/2, and restart the computer.

-(Fix) Fonts are broken with long strings with 256/64K color on WIN-OS/2.
