TP General - TranXit, error message when opening icon

SYMPTOM:
When trying to use TranXit, you get the error message "The requested COM port is not available, because a hardware interrupt conflict has been detected. You must change your hardware configuration to be able to use this COM port from Windows application".
CONFIGURATION:
Any ThinkPad with Infrared support using TranXit and the MindPath Remote Control program.
RESOLUTION:
The MindPath application, if running, will cause a conflict with TranXit. In order to turn off MindPath, go into the MindPath icon and then into the PRESENTATION FX PRO icon, and under INFRARED, choose OFF (instead of THINKPAD INTERNAL which was probably chosen). It will prompt them to reboot windows.
