IBM PC - SYS3175 error in module SPOOSU.DLL during restore using Seagate Sytos Premium for OS/2

SYMPTOM:
System returns SYS3175 error in module SPOOSU.DLL during restore when using Seagate Sytos Premium for OS/2. The system doesn't lock.
CONFIGURATION:
Any system and any backup Media using Seagate Sytos Premium for OS/2 ver 2.2 or earlier.
RESOLUTION:
The problem was related to files with large Extended Attributes. A new SPOOSU.DLL is available on the IBM BBS or Web site that fixes this problem. This file replaces the existing file.
