IdeaScan Color Flatbed Scanner - Incompatibility with the IBM ThinkPad 600 hibernation feature

Environment:
Thinkpad 600, IdeaScan Color Flatbed Scanner, Scanner Driver V1.0
Symptom:
When the hibernate feature is active and the buttons are enabled, the system locks up when waking out of hibernation.
Temporary Solution:
Disable the buttons before setting the Thinkpad 600 in hibernate mode or disable the IR port in Device Manager. Disable the buttons by selecting the Disable Buttons feature in EZ station. The buttons on the scanner will no longer launch the applications; however, the virtual buttons in EZ station will launch the applications. Close the EZ station window to save the new setting.
