Description This diskette provides the utility to load, change and update the built-in system program in the following Port Replicator: 1. - Port Replicator with Advanced EtherJet Feature ( P/N: 05K4872), which can be used with the following ThinkPad computers: - ThinkPad 380Z - ThinkPad 560Z 2. - PC Card Enabler with Advanced EtherJet Feature ( P/N: 05K4820), which can be used with the following ThinkPad computers: - ThinkPad 600, 600E ( SelectaBase 600 is required.) - ThinkPad 770, 770E, 770ED, 770X ( SelectaBase 770 is required.) "The Port Replicator with Advanced EtherJet Feature" and "PC Card Enabler with Advanced EtherJet Feature" are already pre-installed with LSA2 code for DHCP PXE boot ready

Insert the Advanced EtherJet Feature Flash Utility Diskette into the diskette drive. 2. Shut down and reboot the system. 3. When prompted, enter 'E' to erase the current code. 4. Press 'Enter' to reboot the system. 5. Select 'D' for DHCP, 'R' for RPL, 'E' for Erase, 'C' for Cancel. Note: IBM Lan Client Control Manager LCCM v2.0 is now available. LCCM v2.0 supports both RPL remote boot or DHCP PXE remote boot option for Advanced EtherJet Feature. LCCM v2.0 is a push technology for true remote client boot from LCCM servers. To complement remote boot function, IBM Wake on LAN technology offers true Wake-up event to a fully powered down PC system (unlike some other WoL technologies that can only restart a PC system from a suspend mode). Together with Wake on LAN + remote boot options from Advanced EtherJet Feature, LCCM v2.0 will provide the most advanced, comprehensive, and flexible technology to date for campus or enterprise-wide remote client management. Now, with IBM LCCM v2.0, users can remotely turn on a PC system, then have it remotely boot up to a server, with the choice of either RPL boot or DHCP PXE boot.
