Opening a DOS fullscreen halts movie playback
Models affected:
All with DVD
How to duplicate:
1. Start playing a DVD Movie
2. Open a DOS Window
3. Press Control-Enter to maximize the window.
4. Notice that the video stops playing.
Root cause:
This is a limitation of the Microsoft DirectX Media 6 overlay mixer.
Workaround:
Microsoft is aware of this problem but has not promised a fix. Some future version of DirectX Media may incorporate this functionality.
