Aptiva - How to install / uninstall VR Soccer
Applicable to: United States
To install VR Soccer on your Aptiva:
1. From Windows 95 Start Menu, click on the Aptiva Installer icon.
2. Place the VR Soccer CD into the CD-ROM drive and wait for the drive light to go on and then off.
3. Click on the "find install program" button if application was not installed previously; or, if installed previously, select "show uninstalled programs" tab.
4. Click on the VR Soccer icon once to highlight it and then click on install.
5. At the Welcome Dialog Box, first read the disclaimer, and then click on next.
6. At the choose destination location dialog box, click next to choose the default directory path, C:\VRSPORTS\VRSOCCER.
7. At the select installation size dialog box, standard selection should be selected; if so, click on next.
8. At the select sound card dialog box, Mwave sound and modem card should be selected; if so, click on next.
9. At the question dialog box, click on yes to view the readme file.
10. To exit the readme file, click on file and then exit.
11. At the information dialog box, click OK.
12. Close the Aptiva Installer by clicking on exit.
To play VR Soccer:
1. Click on start, programs, VR sports, and then VR Soccer.
2. At the VR Soccer 96: Semi Finals Dialog Box, click yes to proceed to run the game in MS-DOS mode.
3. At the fastcfg screen, do not press anything and it will continue shortly.
4. At the VR Soccer 96 Semi Finals Dialog Box, please read the disclaimer and then select register now.
5. Register the program and now you are able to play the program.
To remove VR Soccer from your Aptiva:
1. From Windows 95 Start Menu, click on the Aptiva Installer icon.
2. Click on show installed programs tab.
3. Click on the VR Soccer icon to highlight it and then click on uninstall.
4. Click on yes to confirm file deletion.
5. From the "remove programs from your computer" dialog box, click on OK. At this point VR Soccer has been uninstalled.
