TP 760ED/XD,765D - MPEG-2 CD-I Movie causing runtime error in Windows NT 4.0

SYMPTOM
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Error: "Runtime Error! Program: D:\WINNT\system32\mplay32.exe abnormal program termination". This occurs when a customer installs the MPEG-2 driver for Windows NT 4.0 on a 760ED/XD and attempts to play a Video CD by going to the Media Player and attempting to play the .dat files.
SOLUTION
The Windows NT MPEG driver supports playback of .mpg files only. It will not play back the .dat files on video CDs.
