Aptiva - Increasing pause time in Aptiva Communication Center

Problem:
The pause length is too short for dialing long numbers as needed for a calling card or a pager.
Solution:
1) Upgrade to version 1.6 (or later) of Aptiva Communication Center.
2) Edit the TAM.INI file and locate the section which contains the following:
DialPauseTime=8000
Using this as an example, this will cause each comma placed in the phone number to wait 8000 milliseconds before continuing to dial. 1000 miliseconds=1 second.
Example:
1-555-555-5555, 54900, 12* in a phone number would wait 8 seconds between the '5555' and the next digits of numbers.
