Applicable to: World-Wide
SYMPTOM:
On ThinkPad 760E P150 systems model 9546 U9B with two Kingston 32MB DIMMS installed, a hang during boot up occurs. If the DIMMS are removed, and check to see if the system now boots without a hang. If so, check the following markings on the DIMM: 1909-001-A00.
SOLUTION:
This DIMM will be replaced by Kingston. Kingston Technical Support should be called at 1-800-435-0640. There are no other reported problems with other Kingston DIMMS for the 760E series.
You should not service a system that matches this situation.
