TP 600 - Using ThinkPad Customization Center with Netscape Navigator

SYMPTOM:
When opening the Thinkpad Customization Center you get the following error message:
JavaScript Alert:You are not running the following browser:
Browser: Microsoft Internet Explorer
Version: 4.0
CONFIGURATION:
All Thinkpad 600s with the Windows 95 preload and Netscape Navigator set as the default browser.
SOLUTION:
Open Internet Explorer. When prompted to set Internet Explorer as the default browser, click the 'Yes' button. Thinkpad Customization Center should now open properly.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Thinkpad Customization Center was designed to run on Internet Explorer. It will not run on Netscape Navigator. Netscape Navigator can be made the default browser again. A dialog box should appear the next time Navigator is launched which should give that option.
